As a fandom grows in popularity, fans naturally try to find more ways to connect with the original work. One of those ways is to visit real world locations either mentioned in or inspiring locations in books, or places where movie adaptations have been filmed.
Some examples are Lyra and Will's bench in Oxford, the rock in Central Park where The Doctor picnicked with Amy and Rory, or the working fire station used for Ghostbusters' headquarters.
For episode 8 we are going to give you details on the locations around the world associated with Harry Potter or as we call them Potter Pilgrimages. Our hosts will tell you about their own experiences at many of these places and then we have a special guest interview with someone who has spent over 10 years helping fans get to them. Jeannie Barresi, the managing director of HP Fan Trips.
